Online MBA in Sustainable Development

EUCLID’s online MBA in Sustainable Development was ranked #1 (of the 23 world's best) for a good reason: it is offered by an international intergovernmental organization with a university mandate and specialized expertise in sustainable development.

Historically, EUCLID grew out of the cooperation between several universities and the International Organization for Sustainable Development (IOSD) which was the original SD international organization (and which is now a EUCLID affiliated institute).

Academic Presentation

Global Health Conference

This MBA program begins with providing a best-of-class MBA core which will equip the students with practical yet academically sound knowledge in economics and management.

The MBA curriculum goes on to provide a progression of courses covering ecological economics (with case studies), sustainable economic studies, and economics development (including the authoritative Todaro textbook).

This EUCLID MBA focuses on applicable professional knowledge and skills rather than the advancement of academic knowledge for its own sake. Also, sustainable economic development is considered from a Global South angle as well as from major Western/OECD sources.

This is a program that is also used by civil servants working for EUCLID Participating States and can be considered an excellent route to pursue a career within governmental bodies, NGOs, global corporations and international organizations.

Within certain parameters, the curriculum is customizable, with elective courses focusing on:

  • Sustainable Development Goals
  • Sustainable Development in Africa
  • Small islands issues
  • Culture and Development
  • Islamic Economics and Finance.
